We are seeking dedicated Staff Nurses with a RN to join our diverse team in Bloomingdale and be a part of our life-changing mission. We have flexible full-time, part-time and PRN shifts available with a starting base rate of up to $36/hr (plus additional differentials of $1 for PMs, $2 for nights and up to $7 for weekends). We are also excited to offer an additional temporary supplement of $8/hr from now until June 2025 as our team prepares for a change in location. " Who We Are:

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.

With three residential locations – the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, the Marklund Philip Center in Bloomingdale, and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents.

The Marklund Day School offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children and young adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on the autism spectrum.

In addition, our Community Day Services program at each site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside at Marklund and those who come in from the community.

Through clinical excellence, caring practice and extraordinary teamwork, Marklund nurses boldly advance the practice of nursing every day.

You will make a difference in the lives of our residents in the following ways:
Administer medications, tube feedings and treatments as prescribed. Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments. Inform the physician of changes in resident health status and implements physicians order to assure optimal health care. Complete daily charting for care provided. Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants and case manager regarding resident status.

Experience and Skills:

Staff Nurse, RN, Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN), current on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry Possess current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements An ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, and strong commitment to providing excellent care to our residents along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and the desire to contribute to a strong culture where the entire team works together for the good of each resident.
