    Description
  • Conduct concept and detail design engineering activities in accordance with policies, plans, procedures, instructions, and standards under the direction of the Design Engineering Manager and Lead Design Engineer.
  • Provide 3D/2D CAD design services, with high focus on best practices for consideration of DFA/DFM, innovation, and cost effective solutions under the guidance of the workgroup design engineers.
  • Promote client's quality policy by creating designs on either NX, CREO or CATIA that are cost effective in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the design workflow process is strictly followed with Lead Engineer supervision (Master section development, Packaging, Feasibility through detail CAD models/drawings)
  • Ensures CMI specific CAD design standards are used and drawing practices.
  • NX12 design, CREO, and/or CATIA V5 design experience required
  • Experience using PLM systems (Teamcenter and/or Windchill) to manage CAD data and BOM revision control
  • Strong competency in at least 1 of the following CAD systems; Catia V5, NX, Creo
