    Description
    The Design Engineer is expected to design & develop Electric Chargeport Door Assembly. Good experience in designing products with different material integration utilizing DFM/A for Injection Molding and Casting Processes is required. To create 3D CAD models using CATIA V5 for proposal studies and concept generation. Perform engineering calculations and develop kinematics in CATIA V5 using DMU workbench. Direct CAE teams and interpret FEA simulation results integrating recommendations into product design.

    Have to work with metal and plastic component suppliers towards optimized and feasible product design through DFM and Moldflow studies.

    Supporting overall product development milestones and prototype/production builds. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Engineering Manufacturing and Procurement teams to ensure assembly feasibility and serviceability Should support team with technical documentation to include DFMEAs and DVP&R's
