The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

Starting on September 1st, 2024, we are looking for you to join our 3-year apprenticeship program as a train driver (railway employee in operational service as a train driver and transport operator) (m/f/d) at our location in Nuremberg. The vocational school and DB training center are also located in Nuremberg.

What to expect during your apprenticeship:

At the beginning of your apprenticeship, you will learn what you need to pay attention to in order to safely and punctually drive trains from A to B
Step by step, you will also learn how to drive the trains yourself, with your instructors always by your side
You will get to know many different routes through nature, cities, and train stations, all while enjoying the best view
If there are any deviations or changes in train operations, you will learn how to inform our passengers through the loudspeakers
