As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team.

Job Description:

Position Overview:
As an Accountant at, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations within the construction industry. You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances, and providing recommendations for cost-saving measures.

Project Accounting:
Track project costs, revenues, and profitability, collaborating closely with project managers to ensure accurate project financial reporting.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.

Cost Control:
Monitor and analyze construction costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Compliance and Taxation:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws, collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.

Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, such as pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and risk assessment.

Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Ad Hoc Projects:
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
1+ years of experience as an Accountant, with a preference for experience in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction accounting principles, including job costing, revenue recognition, and WIP (work in progress) accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
