We are currently seeking a Senior Physician (m/f/d) for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery for a client in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, North Valley.

The hospital is a major care facility with nearly 500 beds. The Department of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery provides care for patients of all ages and covers the entire spectrum of operative and conservative trauma surgery, with a special focus on spinal surgery. The clinic is certified as a trauma center.

The clinic is located in the beautiful landscape of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is approximately 50km from Rostock, a historic city known for its well-preserved old town and impressive buildings. A designated path leads around the old town, passing by notable landmarks.

Your responsibilities - challenging and diverse

  • Performing complex surgical procedures on the musculoskeletal system, including the spine and pediatric trauma
  • Pre- and post-operative care for patients
  • Training of resident physicians
  • Responsibility for organization and coordination within the Regional Trauma Center
  • Acting as deputy D-Arzt (medical expert for occupational accidents)
