Job Summary:

Duties/Responsibilities:

Operates bucket loader, forklift and robot bagger system.
Maintain an extremely clean and safe working environment following all company policies.
Will assist the Plant Operator in the operation of the Pellet Mill.
Manage and maintain wood chip inventory pile and infeed area.
Move material as directed by the Plant Operator.
Inspect equipment daily, detect malfunctions, and report problems to the Plant Operator.
Perform indoor and outdoor maintenance in the direction of the Plant Operator. Promote a safe working environment and follow all workplace and job safety procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Works well independently and with others.
Good communication skills.
Organized with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and stressful environment.
Strong work ethic, good judgment, and decisionmaking skills
Knowledge of the lumber industry

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
Equipment Operating Experience.
Driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting for extended periods in the operation of equipment on varying surfaces.
Climbing up and down from cab heights with ease multiple times per hour.
Occasional lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 pounds.
Continuous walking or standing.
Climbing ladders and working in elevated positions following company safety procedures.
Bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting items above the shoulders.
Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals, and maneuver the steering wheel to operate the equipment.

Work Environment:

Indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and allweather conditions.
Walking on slippery or uneven surfaces from time to time.
Hearing protection is required in certain areas of the facility.
Buildings and grounds are nonsmoking except in designated smoking areas.
