Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary leadership of employees in the areas of workshops, testing field, and logistics
  • Strategic development of the department and expansion of project teams and competencies at locations worldwide will be a key focus of your work
  • You will also be responsible for defining and managing development projects for internal and external clients
  • You will have business responsibility for the cost center and monitor key performance indicators within the department such as utilization, costs, deadlines, quality, resources, and technology
  • You will acquire new customers and projects both domestically and internationally and create corresponding offers in collaboration with sales
  • As head of the department, you will represent it in relevant committees

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable field of study
  • You have many years of professional experience in a similar management or coordination role in the automotive sector
  • You have extensive experience in the areas of testing fields, vehicle construction, and work preparation
  • You have a strong understanding of relevant development and testing procedures, techniques, facilities, and processes
  • You possess entrepreneurial thinking and have strong assertiveness
