Job Summary
This position serves an important and integral role in managing the day-to-day operations of NMPA's office and providing direct administrative support to the CEO and EVP/GC at NMPA.
The Director serves as day-to-day liaison NMPA's technology, payroll, insurance and finance vendors, organizes and coordinates executive and board outreach efforts, handles special projects and office manager duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages invoices, payment reconciliation and weekly accounts payables and liaises with the National Music Publishers Association outside CFO;
- Assist in management of payroll and liaises with outside vendor;
- Works with outside technology vendors to ensure continued high level technology support to office and manage IT projects, including working to provide new laptops to employees where needed.
- Maintains CEO and EVP executives' schedules, appointments and travel arrangements; answers and manages incoming calls, prepares/proofreads correspondence, prepares expense reports for executives, and provides administrative support as needed;
- Prepares/compiles materials and provides administrative support for quarterly Board meetings and association events and liaises with the executive assistants of board members to coordinate travel and preparedness;
- Assists with newhire onboarding;
- Monitors and orders office supplies, maintains office equipment, distributes mail, accepts deliveries, serves as building liaison and performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- A proven track record for balancing multiple priorities with overlapping deadlines and the ability to shift;
- Confidentiality, discretion and good judgement.
Education and Professional Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required;
- Three or more years in seniorlevel administrative support role;
