Job Summary:

As a Hospital Care Investigator within the Credit & Collection department, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth functioning of the revenue cycle process by meticulously reviewing accounts, rectifying claim edits, and preparing and submitting claims to payers.

You'll handle various tasks, including posting payments, updating patient accounting systems, and addressing related functions to support Patient Financial Services operations.


Duties:


  • Review accounts and correct claim edits
  • Prepare and complete claims for submission to payers
  • Post payments and update patient accounting systems
  • Support Patient Financial Services operations
  • Perform other assigned duties within the revenue cycle process
