    Sonitrol of Louisville has been a leader in the security industry for over 50 years.

    Due to our continued growth, we have a position for a Security System Installer with a positive attitude and direct industry experience.

    We're looking for full-time employees, working from 7:30-4:30 M-F, installing security systems.

    We provide commercial solutions for access control, fire, CCTV, and intrusion systems.

    No security industry experience is necessary, but candidates must have the ability to work with power tools, work on a ladder/lift, and be good with their hands.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Install security systems or appropriate devices, dismantle and/or reconstruct equipment as required by customer or the Company.
    • Conduct testing and inspection of systems under maintenance agreement.
    • Respond to and complete system troubleshooting and repairs.
    • Make connections and required adjustments as directed, test operation of all components of each system.
    • Conduct site surveys upon request of management.
    • Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
    • Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material to management.
    • Communicate with customers on job status or completion (installation or service).
    • Any other responsibilities as assigned.

    Other Duties:

    • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Experience with power hand tools and working from a ladder/lift
    • Ability to run wire and hang devices in a commercial environment
    • Must have strong work ethic and be able to be at work on time
    • Have valid driver's license
    • Participate in service on-call rotation with other technicians
    • Be flexible to weekend/2nd shift work and occasional out-of-town installs
    • Be able to follow directions and work independently and in a team setting
    • Strong computer skills with the ability to work on client networks
