We are excited to be hiring a Clinical Studies Support Coordinator IV to join the Medtronic Diabetes Operating Unit. In this role, you will be providing support to a Medtronic Diabetes clinical research study team. The Clinical Studies Support Coordinator III will independently perform diverse administrative and project duties. This position will be ONSITE at Northridge Facility **.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


The
Clinical Study Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting Clinical Operations Supply Chain Distribution activities to assure compliance with regulations and Medtronic standards, guidelines and policies.

Coordinate activities involving order entry, product packaging & shipping, product return processing, product accountability, filing and study record development and maintenance, inventory cycle count management.

Generate and distribute reports for study teams, investigational sites and management. Issue investigation including resolution of action items. Maintain documentation consistent with Medtronic standards, guidelines and policies. Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned in support of the Clinical Research department.

Basic understanding of Clinical Operations and systems desired (e.g., manufacturing/supply chain management & distribution systems, clinical trial management reporting systems).

This position works with mínimal supervision in consort with the department and study management.

  • Execute Clinical Operations Distribution strategies
  • Perform return request entry in the sales order system (order fulfillment, packaging, shipment coordination)
  • Perform product return entry in the sales order system (device return/complaint management and tracking)
  • Collaborate on product accountability and reconciliation activities
  • Collaborate on and execute reporting activities (studies and management)
  • Collaborate on failure analysis and complaint reporting activities
  • Develop collaborative relationships with teammates and cross functional colleagues (R&D, Returns, Regulatory
  • Coordinate study material shipments: retrieve, transport and prepare materials for shipment and coordinate with distribution teams
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
  • Attend and support clinical study meetings and Operations meetings (e.g., meeting facilitation, minutes, action item followup, arrangements, ad hoc assignments)
  • Collaborate on development/revision and implementation of workflow efficiencies and procedure improvements aligned with relevant global regulations and standards

Must Have:
Minimum Requirements


  • Requires broad practical knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education. Requires minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Desired/ Preferred Qualifications:


  • B.A., B.S. in a health sciences or businessrelated field and 2 years of related experience
  • Experience with Operations/Supply Chain/ Sales Distribution/Customer Service experience
  • Familiarity of Operations processes
  • Basic understanding of Operations systems (e.g., manufacturing/supply chain management & distribution systems, clinical trial management systems, & reporting systems) (i.e., SAP, Access)
  • Experience with planning, inventory & distribution management systems (e.g., SAP )
  • Experience in Project management and database systems (e.g., Oracle, MS Project, Access, Agile)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, technical and problem solving skills
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and specifications
  • Able to work effectively, with moderate supervision and on crossfunctional teams
  • Collaborates on solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Ability to facilitate project coordination
  • Willing to be flexible with work hours
