Equipment Operator - Day Laborer (ENTRY LEVEL)
Plastics Forming Enterprises is an independent testing facility that tests the recyclability of plastics products.

We work with virgin and post-consumer resins, labels, adhesives, and brand owners to seek answers to issues for recycling polymers and/or products.

Due to growth in the industry, we are seeking a hands-on type of personality.


Equipment Operator Objectives - ENTRY LEVEL

This position requires someone who is eager to learn different equipment processes and pay attention to detail in a work environment.

Day to Day Processing

• Operate process equipment such as grinders, wash station, and air separator.
• Operate sample production equipment such as Injection Molders, Pellet Extrusion, Blown Film Extrusion and Compression Molding
• Able to lift 3050lbs. on a regular basis.
• Basic computer skills to input data daily and navigate data collection software.
• Daily care of the equipment following cleaning procedures

• Ability to keep a clean shop and be organized with tools/materials.
• Willingness to learn new things, from processing to maintenance tasks.
• Detail orientated
• Computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Ability to multitask

PFE Support and Training

• 6month review plus yearly reviews following
• Training of equipment/processes

Pay:
From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
