- Examining and processing complex or technically challenging general liability claims by conducting investigations and gathering information to determine the claim's exposure; managing claims with well-thought-out action plans for a suitable and timely resolution.
- Evaluating liability and settling claims within the assessment.
- Negotiating claim settlements within authorized limits.
- Estimating and allocating appropriate reserves to claims promptly; overseeing reserve sufficiency throughout the claim's lifecycle.
- Computing and disbursing entitled benefits; endorsing and executing punctual claim payments and adjustments; and concluding claims within designated authority levels.
- Preparing requisite state filings within lawful limits.
- Supervising the litigation procedure; ensuring prompt and cost-effective claims resolution.
- Coordinating vendor referrals for additional inquiry and/or litigation management.
- Utilizing relevant cost control methods.
- Handling claim recuperations, encompassing, but not confined to: subrogation, Second Injury Fund excess recoveries, and Social Security and Medicare offsets.
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree
- Essential to have five (5) years of claims management experience.

Workers Compensation Claims Examiner - Remote Work
Our client, a well-known claims administrator, is seeking a Workers Comp. Claims Examiner for remote work. The role will involve providing support to the Anchorage, AK office.
This position is available to W-2 candidates exclusively.
Applicants MUST reside in one of the following states: TX, IL, IN, or WI
Hourly Pay: $24.50 (40 hours per week)
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Duration of Project: 6+ Months
