Duties:


  • Serving as the Subject Matter Expert regarding the capability's development process for the Synthetic Training Environment Cross Functional Team.
  • Advocating for the evolution of new or substantially new training equipment, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, one world terrain, big data and other training support systems to enhance synthetic and realistic training environments.
  • Assisting other cross functional teams to develop training or leader educations packages and courses to support enhanced realistic training.
  • Reviewing a variety of concepts and doctrine publications/studies developed by other CFT's, TRADOC, HQDA, and other external sources to ensure compatibility with ongoing DOTMLPF-P development work.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) domains to identify capability gaps and provide gap solutions for assigned programs; integrating and ensuring DOTMLPF-P implications are understood and documented during the capability development and integration process; developing and refining Concept of Operations and Analysis of Alternatives with consortium partners as well as drafting and prioritizing operational requirements such as Key Performance Parameters, Key System Attributes, and Additional Performance Attributes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DB-2/GS-5-11)


Education:

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
