Salary Information:


  • Certified Officers start at First Class pay $69, shift differentials
- $6,000 sign on bonus for Certified Officers


Benefits & Incentives:


  • Municipal Fire & Police Retirement
  • HSA with a $2,000 annual contribution
  • All equipment provided and paid for by the department after one 1yr of service $900 annual clothing allowance + $200 annual boot allowance
- $200 annual for eye exam and the purchase of prescription glasses/contacts OR $100 for non-prescription
- $250 annual wellness bonus

  • Education bonus of $500 per degree annually
  • Vacation, Comptime, personal time, sick time.

Qualification & Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Iowa Driver's License
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Reside within 30 miles of the City limits of Camanche, IA.

Testing (currently employed, certified Iowa Police Officers are not required to take the written or physical test).


Pay:
From $69,428.23 per year
