00 plus $2 night shift differential***:

  • As an Electrical & Automation Technician, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of all process control and operational support systems equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and computerbased equipment, as well as repairing any breakdowns that occur. Additionally, you will provide support to the factory's electrical and automation engineering functions and assist with capital and process improvement projects. It is important that you perform all scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and actively contribute to system improvements. Your proactive approach and multitasking abilities will be essential in keeping our operations running efficiently.

  • Will start on a 4 x 10 day shift schedule and eventually transition to a continuous operation schedule Night Shift
    WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:
  • Analyze performance data to improve electrical and automation equipment unplanned stops
  • Will work and troubleshoot equipment by interacting with cross functional departments such as Maintenance Leadership, Production Leadership, Engineering Leadership, Factory Leadership, Front Line Operators, Corporate Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Reports directly to maintenance/production leadership with input from Electrical & Automation Engineer

Expectation:
associate will be motivated and self-directed, requiring only nominal direct/daily supervision and adhere to Nestle vision of safe and inclusive culture

  • Execute real time trouble shooting and problem solving with maintenance /Operations team and followup on issues to ensure that they are completed and that the issues are addressed.
Participate in Preventative maintenance completion as needed Ensure accurate documentation of all electrical and automation platforms, equipment and unplanned machine stops
REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance; process industry preferred
  • Experience with automation systems for building, facility, utility, and process controls preferred
  • Experience with Siemens PLCs, including process and machine motion control logic Experience with HMI systems (preferably SIMATIC WinCC V7 / V8), such as Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk View, Wonderware's InTouch and ArchestrA platform
    SKILLS:
  • Strong electrical distribution and circuit analysis skills with medium voltage electrical systems.
  • Safe use of electrical multimeter to measure AC/DC voltage, continuity, and resistance.
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting skills: Siemens preferred but Allen Bradley experience is accepted
  • Ability to understand, troubleshoot and edit HMI systems (preferably SIMATIC WinCC V7 / V8), such as AB PanelView, Wonderware's InTouch and ArchestrA platform.
  • Strong process automation skills.
  • Machine Safety circuits and performance level identification
  • Able to work offshifts, weekends & extended shifts (e.g., 10 hrs., 12 hrs.)
  • May require internal & external certification
