Position Summary
Are you a good teacher? Do you enjoy helping others to reach their full potential? The Job Coach/ESII position supports working youth and adults with disabilities in Cumberland and York County by:

Providing support to individuals in jobs in their communities, either at the individual's job site for specified hours, or off-site.
Training individuals in learning specific job tasks, assessing progress toward mastery, and developing goals and interventions to maximize independence.
Implementing rehabilitation plans with clients, in coordination and collaboration with family and referral agencies.
Facilitating development of individuals' natural supports at work.

Training and case-specific instruction is provided.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education**: Requires general education development necessary to provide supervision and training to people with disabilities at a level normally acquired through completion of two years of college. Completion of the Maine Employment Curriculum preferred.

License/Certifications:
N/A

Experience:

Six months of previous job coaching experience and/or experience working with people with disabilities in a related field preferred.

Requires analytical ability necessary to provide training and guidance to people with disabilities and evaluate performance.
