    CNC Machinist

    Pay: $25-$28 hour

    Shift: 1st shift (flexible start/end time)

    Work Site: Wayland, MI

    Responsibilities:

    • Operate CNC milling machinery with precision, ensuring high-quality output.
    • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
    • Set up and adjust machinery for optimized performance.
    • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting to keep machines running smoothly.
    • Work closely with a team to refine machining processes.
    • Uphold quality control measures.
    • Follow safety protocols.
    • Mentor peers, sharing knowledge and skills, especially in CNC machining best practices.
    • Stay updated with the latest in CNC machining and software advancements.
    • Ability to effectively problem solve.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Strong experience, (minimum 3 years), in CNC milling with a solid grasp of MasterCam.
    • Strong experience in CNC Lathe, conversational programming.
    • Knowledge of Hurco and Makino CNC mills is a plus, but not a requirement.
    • Knowledge of Mazak Lathes is a plus, but not a requirement.
    • Understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances, (GD&T).
