    Job Description:

    A proficient Defense and Space manufacturing company excelling in global engineering, project management and solutions integration, seeks a skilled individual for the IT Sourcing Specialist role in Chantilly, VA. Join a growing team responsible for managing IT-related commodities procurement and supplier relationships.

    IT Sourcing Specialist Responsibilities:

    • Establish source of supply, negotiate price, delivery date, and necessary commitments adhering to company policies and regulations.
    • Assist in procurement reports, data calls, and audit requests.
    • Perform Purchase Order Closeout.
    • Follow Supply Chain Procurement procedures for maintaining purchase order files in compliance with relevant auditing bodies guidelines/controls.

    IT Sourcing Specialist Requirements:

    • 3-5 years of sourcing IT Procurement commodities (SaaS, cloud, software, AI, robotic automations, machine learning, and upcoming technologies).
    • 3-5 years in IT services or Aerospace and Defense industry.
    • 3-5 years of cradle to grave procurement lifecycle experience.
    • 3-5 years of contract negotiations and vendor relationship management expertise.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
    • Available for hybrid schedule - 3 days in office one week, 2 days in office the next week.
