PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE:


Our most successful Distribution Sales Manager
s:

  • Possess superior communication and organizational skills
  • Exhibit goaloriented behaviors and time management principles
  • Exude a customerfocused attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 35 years of relevant distribution experience with similar product lines as listed above
  • Possesses a college degree, but not required if requisite experience can be demonstrated
  • Have intimate knowledge of the players within our trading area
  • Possesses Sales & Marketing background
- _ Must be able to pass background and reference checks; as well as a drug test_
- _ Must maintain an active driver's license with a clean driving record_


Scope of Responsibility:

Specific roles and responsibilities of Manager of Distribution Sales include:

  • Maintain & improve relationships with wholesalers
  • Call on corporate, CDC, and some branches of key wholesalers
  • Identify & target key wholesaler personnel
  • Set & monitor sales, stock programs & rebate objectives with wholesalers
  • Set overall goals/objectives for these products
  • Set pricing levels
  • Company stock level input
  • Identify & pursue new business (customers or product lines)
  • Product Promotions: Mailings, Product of the Month, shows, counter days, etc.
  • Coordinate Commission Payouts for wholesalers
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
