- As a UX Designer at Lovelace AI, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between machine learning development and operational deployment. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end machine learning pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and business objectives.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user needs and behaviors.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Develop state-of-the-art GIS-based user interface.
- Design user interfaces for web-based and mobile applications, considering usability principles, accessibility guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Work with development teams to implement designs and ensure a consistent user experience across platforms.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results.
- Stay current with UX trends, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in the defense or government sector.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with user research techniques, including usability testing and user interviews.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience designing accessible interfaces.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required).
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Experience designing for complex enterprise or government systems.
- Previous experience designing sophisticated GIS user interfaces.
- Experience designing video game interfaces is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of military or defense industry standards and protocols.
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
