JOB SUMMARY
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in data: e.g. a Master's Degree (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research), relevant work experience, or some combination of the above
- Proficiency with statistical methods, especially multiple regression, time series analyses, experimental design, multivariate testing and Bayesian information criteria
- Proficiency with a language like R, Python, or Java
- Experience with SQL in large environments
- Handson experience working with current relevant technologies such as Jupyter Notebooks, Docker, Spark, Tensor Flow, AWS, SageMaker, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to define and communicate vision and roadmaps to achieve target state architecture across people, process, and technology dimensions.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to independently analyze problems, assess risks, and recommend solutions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working with compensation data
- Knowledge of upcoming pay transparency/CSRD laws
- Previous exposure to enterprise HR platforms such as Oracle HCM is preferred
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Application Building
- Implement effective backend solutions, including APIs, databases, and serverside scripting
- Build userfriendly frontend interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX designers to present analytical findings and tools effectively
- Writes software and utility software tools to create and test new models
Compensation Analytics
- Provide technical data analytics support for compensation data projects
- Collaborate with compensation teams to provide tools and analytical support for market data analysis
- Develop tools to support compliance efforts around pay equity and fair pay practices
- Utilize statistical techniques and datamining processes to analyze drivers of pay and support decisionmaking
- Develop and implements efficient, scalable algorithms using appropriate technologies/software/architectures
Human Centric Design
- Interact with crossfunctional teams to solve business and process issues related to compensation
- Provide input on solution structure, tasks, timeline and estimates for deliverables
- Present findings to stakeholders and design usable tools for compensation decisionmaking
- Partner with planning teams to articulate possible solutions to business problems and to develop requirements for new models
- Prepare detailed specifications for translation of complex business processes into models and prototypes
