The Music teacher will be responsible for the instructing of the assigned students, putting a focus on technique and fundamentals while still growing the students ability to create and grow as an artist.

Create and maintain a nurturing and safe classroom environment.

Also to take care of administrative responsibilities:
lesson plans, attendance, student reviews and attending occasional meetings, et al.

We are looking for the following instructors: (Group)

• Band, ages 7 and up (Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Clarinet, etc.)
• Music Makers, ages 46 (Recorder, Mini C scale Pan, Djembe for rhythms. Basic music literacy)

Job Types:
Part-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: - 6 per week


Work setting:

• Camp
• Inperson

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Brooklyn, NY 11238: Relocate before starting work (required)
