SUMMARY


The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that align with organizational objectives and promote the Bug Tussel and AT&T brands.

This role collaborates closely with the marketing team, retail product managers, and store teams to optimize sales and marketing approaches, ensuring a cohesive and branded customer experience across all touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy in collaboration with the marketing team and retail product managers, outlining project needs, scope, goals, and implementation tasks.
  • Collaborate with retail store teams to enhance the sales and marketing approach, ensuring every customer's consistent and branded experience.
  • Represent Bug Tussel and AT&T brands professionally in all interactions.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with AT&T at the regional level, identifying new business opportunities and proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Identify and leverage local events, PR, social media, and other collaboration opportunities to position the brand strategically in the market.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed retail sales targets.
  • Coordinate and manage communications to the field regarding current and planned retail marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events.
  • Effectively manage the field marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Work closely with wireless leaders to establish a strong local presence, deliver exceptional service, and achieve success within the community.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:


  • 25 years of successful sales and/or marketing experience in the telecom industry, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work independently.
  • Ability to coordinate with key managers and executives.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to host local retail events, offsite training, and meetings.
  • Ability to lift 1015 pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, squatting, and stretching for inventory and stocking purposes.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods to provide exceptional customer service (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Job Skills

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or a related role within the retail carrier or wireless industry.
  • Proven ability to implement sales and marketing techniques that resonate with diverse consumer groups in the retail industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and influence sales decisions.
  • Motivated selfstarter with a competitive spirit and a drive for success.
  • Commitment to providing extraordinary customer service by being compassionate and understanding customer needs.
  • High energy and a sense of urgency to meet internal and external customer expectations.
  • Experience utilizing CRM Systems (MS Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar) to maximize effectiveness.
  • Strong preparation skills and ability to generate solid strategies around opportunities.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and conduct.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical office environment with mínimal physical risks involved, as well as in the field while conducting surveys and installations, with moderate to high physical risks.
  • The noise level in each work environment is low to moderate.
  • Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
  • Sitting for extended periods and operating a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects.
  • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, meetings, field support, and other activities.
  • Ability to travel for events, client meetings, stakeholder engagements, and offsite personnel/management interactions, as well as participation in company and industry events.
