Under the direction of the AIO Manager, the AIO Specialist will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about the AIO product and services and to handle, resolve, and troubleshoot complaints.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; data entry, maintenance and data integrity on existing loans and associated products and systems, verification of data, mail and return mail sorting, report delivery and filing.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and understand, in depth, the AIO loan products
  • Board and audit new and purchased AIO loans, including administration of required letters, notices, and phone calls following all regulatory guidelines as well as internal processes and procedures.
  • Review and resolve any issues with originations documents
  • Maintain investor relationships that include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Communicate information for all issues or concerns that arise in a timely manner
  • Provide monthly reporting as required by the investor
  • Provide necessary audit documentation as requested
  • Update and maintain AIO indexes as required
  • Understand basic loan transaction history inquiry, including escrow disbursements
  • Process AIO Hazard losses within internal policies and procedures.
  • Timely and accurately process increases and advances as requested by customers and employees within internal policies and procedures.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and requests and help to resolve disputes both in person and on the telephone.
  • Prepare, print and mail documents as required.
  • Annually review and update all internal policies and procedures to comply with any changes in regulatory requirements as well as internal system changes.
  • Problem solve and work directly with management in communicating any issues that arise and potentially affect the outcome and servicing of any AIO Loan.
  • Communicate any potential concerns in regards to getting all work done timely as set by internal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Meet established standards and guidelines with regard to compliance, job knowledge, quality, attendance, efficiency, initiative, customer service, and overall performance.
  • Maintain customer confidence by providing ongoing quality service and keeping all files and information confidential.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge and compliance with internal policies and procedures. Understand and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations affecting our institution.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of mortgage servicing functions helpful. Previous mortgage servicing experience preferred.
  • At least one year of customer service/clerical/data entry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of various loan types (i.e., fixed ARMS, balloons) helpful.
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, any other mortgage/banking software, etc.).
  • Professional demeanor and interaction with all customers.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail while handling a high volume of work with multiple interruptions.
  • Effective project management skills and the ability to proactively problem solve.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
