Mitteldeutsches Institut in Marlboro, NY is seeking dedicated individuals to support the education, qualification, and reintegration of job seekers and rehabilitants after illness, accident, or social and developmental challenges.

Due to the continuous expansion of our services, we are currently looking for
Instructors (m/f/d) with BAMF certification who can teach German as a foreign or second language in vocational language courses.

Your diverse tasks include:

Teaching and deepening the German language from level B
Providing further knowledge on cultural, social, and political structures
Preparing for the final exams of the language courses
Documentation and support for course management
Networking

You have:

Existing
approval as a teacher in integration courses according to the BAMF Integration Course Regulation is mandatory
Additional qualification for vocational language courses
University degree in humanities, cultural and language sciences (German studies, Arabic studies, English studies, etc.), pedagogy, social pedagogy, or comparable degrees with the ability to teach in integration courses
German language skills at least at level C
Ideally, previous work experience and interest in working with people of different ages with a migration background
