With the passage of state and federal climate policy, utility programs are rapidly evolving to align with carbon reduction goals.

Program Consultants are critical catalysts in helping customers navigate incentive programs and get electrification and energy measures implemented. This is an exciting time to work as a Program Consultant

This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position that can be performed remotely. We cultivate a friendly and supportive environment to help us achieve our mission impact goals.


In this exciting career in the field of electrification and energy efficiency, you will:

  • Provide program information and facilitate customers through electrification and energy efficiency upgrade installations.
  • Schedule site visits and answer hotlines.
  • Enter project data accurately into appropriate platforms to track interactions and project progress.
  • Compile metrics and progress towards program deliverables.
  • Act as liaison with vendors, partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Occasionally travel throughout MA and CT.

For this exciting career opportunity, you will have:

  • Enthusiasm for CET's Mission.
  • 1 year of work experience in nonprofit, environmental/sustainability, and/or energy efficiency.
  • Excellence in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical partners.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to deliver inperson presentations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with multiple programs and deliverables in a collaborative environment.
  • High speed internet access and a working location free from distractions and interference during business hours (if working remotely)
  • Residence in one of these states: CT, MA, NH, NY, RI, VT.
  • Experience with MassSave or other energy efficiency programs highly desired.
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.

  • Designing outreach materials that help make green make sense for our target audience.
