Description
Cashiers are responsible for the greeting, providing menu information, taking orders andensuring that our guests receive the warm, friendly hospitality for which Gott's is known.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Greet guests in a warm, welcoming manner
- Provide information to guests about menu food items, beverages, wine and beer
- Take accurate orders using Point of Sale (POS) system
- Pour and serve beverages, wine and beer
- Process credit card payments, accepting cash payments, and making change
- Open, maintain and close Cashier station
- Handle and reconcile cash by managing receipts and cash transactions
- Assist other team members as appropriate
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Customer service experience helpful, but not required; will provide training
- Friendly, welcoming personality
- Strong desire to serve and make our guests happy
- Clear, effective verbal communication skills
- Attentive to detail
- California Food Handlers Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work in restaurant environment including prolonged walking, standing,
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
