Bay City Picnic operates a just-in-time supply chain. Every part of the process is crucial to our success, and our hubs play a central role in this. They are the final stop for our goods before they end up on the customer's kitchen table.

As a team leader in the last mile (also known as a Hub Lead), you take on this responsibility and manage one of these hubs (distribution centers).

You oversee the organization of your hub and ensure that it remains an efficient part of our process chain.

You also ensure that safety is a central component of our hub operations, as we have a "safety first" culture.


Each hub is a community, and you create an engaging work atmosphere where every employee is seen as a valuable team member.

You motivate your team to achieve goals and satisfy our customers with every order.


We are always looking for ways to improve our processes, so there is plenty of room for fresh ideas and experimentation.

From repairing our electric vehicles to designing the hub layout and recruiting our runners, your ideas contribute to optimizing our flow of goods and contributing to the growth of our company.


Your role:

  • Manage one of our hubs (distribution centers) and ensure smooth and safe operations
  • Develop, motivate, and lead your team of 50+ runners (drivers), including organizing shift schedules, training new employees, etc.
  • Coordinate communication between the hub, fulfillment center, and central team
  • Monitor the local EPV fleet (electric Picnic vehicle)
