    Description

    Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and organized part time receptionist to join our Somerville, NJ team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and provide general administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel.
    • Manage the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
    • Receive and distribute mail and packages.
    • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for meeting rooms.
    • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
    • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
    • Assist with special projects and events as assigned.
    • Uphold company policies and procedures with confidentiality and integrity.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., phone systems, printers, fax machines).
