Description
Support the company's goals by leveraging customer analytics and statistical methods on complex data sets and drive actionable results. This role will also aid the Insights team and other cross-functional units with statistical requests and/or dashboard development as needed by the business

  • Utilize analytical tools to develop meaningful customer and channel insights, provide actionable recommendations for Merchandising, Design and Marketing teams
  • Work collaboratively to design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, userfriendly reports, dashboards, etc. on a proactive basis that will support our business needs
  • Analyze sales and customer segmentation data to identify trends and insights that can be used to improve current processes
  • In a collaborative environment, partner with other business members of diverse backgrounds and disciplines to bring analytical rigor and statistical methods to the challenges of predicting behaviors
  • An ability to work in a fastpaced environment where quality results are desired
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage competing priorities
  • Partner with other business teams to help with various tools and automated reports related to model performance and analytics
  • Effective communication skills, including an ability to successfully communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Keep up to date on relevant technologies and frameworks for identifying trends and crafting new ways of looking at data
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in statistics, data mining, report/dashboard development, or direct marketing required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Economics, or other mathematical fields preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of database management tools like Microsoft SQL Server, Modeling tools (Python/R)
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Ability to effectively communicate data in a visual manner
  • Related experience in an organization supporting customer behavior or retail analytics
  • Developing analytical skills with the ability to work collaboratively to collect, clean, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and strong aptitude in retail math and forecasting methodology
  • Excellent problemsolving ability with emphasis on drawing inferences from data
  • Dedicated team player with the ability to build and maintain good rapport with both internal and external customers to handle situations with confidence and tact.
  • Understanding of multichannel marketing and merchandising disciplines including direct/database marketing, internet, retail store promotions, etc., a plus.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions, processes, and the status quo
