We are seeking a marketing leader who understands the ins and outs of marketing strategy, analysis, campaign execution and staff management — all while keeping tight control over the bottom line.

Part analyst, part strategist and part manager, this professional will create and implement strategies, tactics, campaigns and brand messaging.

The incumbent will lead the charge for the AFC marketing team and must bring a healthy mix of skill, management experience and initiative to the company.

In this position, you will write, produce, coordinate, and maintain the materials required to successfully penetrate and expand our market share across multiple channels and vertical markets.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with clients, management, creative and content teams, and partners, to create a results driven marketing strategy focused on growing audiences and market share for our products.
  • Based on market research, develop and implement plans and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive lead generation and sales
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions and other marketing projects
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets and sales forecasting
  • Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives
  • Overseeing social media strategy and content marketing.
  • Negotiate with media partners to guarantee advantageous contracts
  • Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services.
  • Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
  • Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Understanding and developing budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, returnoninvestment and profitloss projections.
  • Thorough understanding of market development, strategies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the retention and performance of direct and indirect marketing team members
  • Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Education and Experience:


  • At least five years of experience in marketing leadership roles and longrange planning required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • On site at AFC's office
  • Periodic overnight travel for trade shows, events, and similar client development activities.
  • The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk, and use their hands and fingers to work with the computer, phones, filing cabinets, paperwork, etc.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs., set up/ break down trade show displays, and similar activities.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a fulltime position, exempt position
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed.

Pay:
$50, $130,000.00 per year
