- Set up and install our products at client locations, following company guidelines and industry standards.
- Regularly maintain equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot our hardware and software issues using various diagnostic methods.
- Replace or repair faulty components or products, collaborating with the Engineering team when necessary.
- Provide technical support and training to customers post-installation, handling and resolving customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Create detailed service reports for each job, highlighting any unresolved issues or potential concerns, and keep records of maintenance, repairs, and product updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams regularly and provide feedback from field observations to enhance processes and product design.
- Manage stock of necessary parts and equipment for efficient inventory control and dispose of replaced or old parts.
- Stay informed about the latest technological developments and company products by attending mandatory training and seminars.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations on-site, ensuring a secure environment for both yourself and the customer by using protective gear.
- Hold a technical degree or certification in a relevant field.
- Prior experience as a field technician or in a similar role.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Possess effective communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Be familiar with mobile tools and applications.
- Have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Capable of lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, when needed.
- Able to stand, climb, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
- Require manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment effectively.
- Work predominantly on-site at customer locations, which may range from indoor to outdoor settings in varying weather conditions.
- Travel up to 80-100% of the time may be necessary.
- Flexibility for weekend travel may be required.
