Overview:


SRI International is looking for a talented
Contracts Assistant, within the Contract Strategic Services (CSS) team, reporting to the CSS Manager.


Responsibilities:


The Contracts Assistant will be responsible for tasks including:

  • Entering and maintaining records in SRI's contract management system.
  • Maintaining accurate records of contract deliverables and notifications to billing, entering and maintaining records in SRI's procurement system.
  • Processing invoices, processing contract closeout documents,
  • Preparing and submitting Invention and Patent Reports in accordance with the contract requirements, manage process to track reporting of Subcontractor audit reports
  • Perform administrative tasks such as compilation of binders, scanning documents into internal drive, working with archives, and tracking files.
  • Maintain contract and proposal files in accordance with SRI's policies and procedures and guidance from the Contract Officers Monitor project status reports to identify potential problem projects.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts.
  • One (1) year of work experience in the field of contracts.
  • Data entry experience is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Computer literacy is required, basic understanding of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment is required.

  • Must be able to effectively prioritize a steady and busy workload using sound judgment.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate flexibility and integrity in the workplace.
  • Some understanding of contract terms and conditions is desired.
  • High level of enthusiasm and energy desired.
