    Description

    We are looking for a well rounded Payroll Specialist to support our client's transportation company using UKG UltiPro and will involve managing all aspects of payroll processing and administration within the UltiPro system. This is a hybrid position that you will be required to go onsite 4 days per week on the Southside of Jacksonville, FL.

    This role will include tasks such as:

    • Processing payroll accurately and on time for all employees, including hourly and salaried workers.
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits.
    • Handling payroll inquiries from employees and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
    • Generating payroll reports as needed for management and accounting purposes.
    • Managing employee data within the UltiPro system, including new hires, terminations, and changes to personal or financial information.
    • Collaborating with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related tasks.
    • Staying informed about updates and changes to UltiPro software and attending training sessions as necessary to maintain proficiency.
    • Assisting with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and reporting.
