Power Press Operator Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Power Press Operator to join our team at our facility in North Branford, CT, As a Power Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stamping press machines to produce high-quality parts for our production runs.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate progressive power press machines from 5-150 tons including ancillary equipment.

Ability to retrieve and load material.
Utilize various press machines.
Ability to verify quality or parts with gauges and measuring equipment.
Ensure that all paperwork including labeling, quality documents are accurate and completed.
Ensure that all machine maintenance issues are met.
Responsible for any packaging related to job, bins containers etc.
Data Entry into ERP system.
Be able to carry out directions from supervisor or management.
Be able to stand or sit for long lengths of time. Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds.
Work as a team with fellow operators.
Ability to use die protection.
Keep work area neat and organized.
