Vacancy Overview Document Controller - Corpus Christi, TX
Our client is seeking a Document Controller to work within their facilities located in Corpus Christi, TX, for an initial 1.5-year assignment.

Supports reviewing information fidelity by assisting in the enforcing of controlled processes and practices for the creation, capture, review, revision, issuance, distribution, retention and ready access to project information, documents, data and the related systems. Document Controllers supports the key interface with project contractors and processes, helps in validations, and tracks contractor transmittal packages and deliverables. Assists to configure, review document review workflows, troubleshoots user issues related to document control processes and project electronic document management systems (EDMS) and other technical solutions and tools.

Job Responsibilities:

Assists in validating, capturing, and tracking all transmittals, deliverables and other project records, information and data and supports in accepting them to the project EDMS.
Assists to configure and track project document reviews and provides support to assigned reviewers as needed.
With guidance, provides end users support and assistance with researching or retrieving documents, basic use of project repositories and troubleshoots systems disruptions.
Assist in coordinating new user onboarding, account creation and access/permission approvals.
Works very closely with Project Management and the Information Management Manager to coordinate with contractor counterpart and internal document control team to manage deliverables.
Provides assistance in configuring and deploying workflow templates and distribution groups as needed.
Ensures documents and deliverables conform to project contract requirements, project procedures and company policy.
Coordinates with IT and contractors to verify and restore API and integration functionality during disruption events as needed.
Supports the review and validation of project KPI dashboards data and facilitates reconciling any discrepancies.
Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Education/Experience:

H.S. Diploma/GED required.
Bachelor's degree in business, information management, information technology or applied sciences.
8+ years of experience in Engineering Project Document Control and administration of EDMS systems required.
8+ years of experience in Project Document Control experience in the LNG, Oil & Gas, Energy Sector preferred.
