Position Overview:


The Camp Lead Associate is a full-time role that reports to the Inventory Control Operations Manager and is responsible for supporting production line and DC processes.

The Camp Lead works closely with the Inventory Control Operations Manager and Production Manager to monitor production line needs, finished goods put away, and various other required tasks.


Requirements:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities - _include but are not limited to the following:

_

  • Monitor and delegate production order picks according to the schedule
  • Monitor order pick progress and accuracy; hold pickers accountable to these standards
  • Monitor finished goods put away to ensure timeliness and accuracy
  • Train new individuals according to the picking/putaway standardized operating procedures
  • Consistently tracking and maintaining paperwork
  • Pick, stage, and put away products that require operating a powered lift truck
  • Routinely communicate the status/performance to appropriate business channels
  • Support and work crossfunctionally with other departments as needed
  • Operate Cherry Picker, count materials, finished goods, and nonconforming materials daily.
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations; locate any misclassified inventory.
  • Open cartons and other containers to count items and/or weigh containers to determine the quantity on hand.
  • Develop and monitor key functions related to inventory, to assure that numbers are accurate and orders are timely.
  • Navigate Hickory Farms' software program to process cycle counts, review instock inventory, view current floor activity, and access archives.
  • Report discrepancies of over/understocked inventory and report any damaged products to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.

Experience/Skill Set

  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and logístical thinking abilities
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have strong leadership abilities
  • Microsoft AX/D365 ERP or equivalent ERP experience required
  • Aboveaverage MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook required

Educational and/or Work Experience Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar skill set
  • 1year Cherry Picker experience required.
  • Successful completion of Hickory Farms' Cherry Picker Driver Training and Certification Program.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.


  • Must be able to complete the "essential job functions" with "reasonable accommodations" and meet all the mandatory qualifications under the ADA guidelines.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform essential physical activities such as lifting, climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
