Summary:

Provides Occupational Therapy Services topatients referred, including assessment, treatment plan developmentand implementation with the follow-up and discharge planning.Actively assists with clinical aspects of the department, includingprogram development, department operations and PerformanceImprovement activities. Assists with supervising and coordinatingthe Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant Studentprograms. In addition, supervises Certified Occupational TherapyAssistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral degreefrom an accredited college or university in the area ofOccupational Therapy is required.
All modalities/equipment used by anOccupational Therapy Assistant as outlined by the Texas ExecutiveCouncil of Physical Therapy and Occupational TherapyExaminers.
Licensed as anOccupational Therapist by the State Board of Occupational TherapyExaminers of Texas.
BLScertification is required.
Must alsosuccessfully complete the pre-employment/post job offer healthscreening examination and the annual screening, each yearthereafter as an employee.
