**About the Role**

**Job Summary**

As a CBRE Construction Project Sr. Consultant, you will be responsible for managing large and high-profile construction projects for clients, with direct accountability for project delivery. This job is part of the Construction Management function. They are responsible for ensuring all deliverables of construction projects are completed on time.

**What Youll Do**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Conduct periodic site visits to monitor the progress of construction. Review status of work completed during the period covered and confirm work is aligned with the approved drawings and specifications.

+ Review all documentation submitted by Developers. This includes contractors direct cost payment requisitions, budget status, subcontracts, etc.

+ Prepare Project Status and Construction Risk Assessment report. Recommend the release of construction funds. Review complex contract drawings, specifications, and opine for completeness and general compliance with best practices.

+ Evaluate the Developers direct and indirect cost budget. Coordinate with the Cost Advisory group performing parameter estimates and spot quantity take-offs.

+ Make relevant comments on the terms of construction agreements. This includes subcontracts, architectural, engineering design, and building loan agreements. Ensure the Contractor and Architects qualification statements are up to date.

+ Oversee large construction and disbursement schedules. This includes zoning approvals, certified surveys, building permits etc.

+ Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.

+ Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.

+ Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.

+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

+ Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

+ Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.

+ Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

**What Youll Need:**

+ **Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.**

+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

+ The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.

+ Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.

+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

+ Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

+ Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Washington, D.C. residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience.

The minimum salary for the Sr. Construction Project Manager position is $127,100 annually and the maximum salary for the position is Sr. Construction Project Manager $211,700 annually.

The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience.

Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREs applicable benefit program.
