Summary:


  • A typical systems engineer analyzes user needs, and then designs, tests, and develops software to meet those needs.

Responsibilities:


  • Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
  • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of the database to the management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
  • Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
  • Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate the time and cost required to accomplish the project.

Skills:


  • Verbal and written communication skills, problemsolving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing, and delivery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of computer development software across multiple platforms.

Position's Contributions to Work Group:


  • This position will be accountable for the ECM field return process.

Typical task breakdown:


  • Track incoming filed returns.
  • Complete initial analysis.
  • Send units to suppliers.
  • Update field return data according to the field return process.

Interaction with team:


  • Fastpaced environment.
  • Platform and technical leads, Client.
  • Quality contacts with primary Suppliers.

Work environment:


  • Onsite Office and Lab Based Site.

Education & Experience Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in electronics/ computer engineering.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience.
  • Including internship and projectrelated experiences.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of electronic circuits.
  • Data analysis.

Soft Skills

  • Must have a great customer service attitude as most interactions are with our product development groups.
  • Must be able to manage individual tasks without direct oversight.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Teamwork.
  • Attention to detail.

Job Types:

Pay:
$ $42.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
