SUMMARY:

Responsible to support the SAP SME, SAP end users, SAP parameters and correct functionality of system. Responsible to ensure system is functioning based of business and process requirements. Assisting in managing SAP batch manufacturing processes including MRP, Master Data, reports, transactions, work scheduling, templates, etc.

SAP Modules: SD, MM, PP, QM, FI/CO, WMS, EDI

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Diagnosis of operational issues related to SAP setup and functionality.
Support for troubleshooting SAP system and transactions.
Implement and coordinate system fixes and/or improvements, upgrades, testing
Ensuring that the processes or projects are in line with the business processes.
Interact with all functional areas to identify, develop, and design the business processes for SAP usage and develop an action plan.
Define and document all the process and transactions for supporting end users and the correct usage of SAP.
Mentoring, Train, Support and Solve problems in SAP for end users
Participate in different programs and projects, such as, adding new resources and lines, etc.
Coordinate and liaison with sister company on upgrades, updates, and Scope of Work
Single point of contact for assigning and submitting new user roles to SAP
Manage and Coordinate SAP projects (Workflows, EDI, Labels Templates, changes, improvements, etc.)

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum an Associate Degree in Computer Science or similar with four to six years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience includes

Experience and knowledge of SAP modules and it's intricacies
Experience with batch processing
Understanding of ERP Applications and material flow.
Python & MS SQL knowledge is a plus
Integration and Interface knowledge
Analytic & Data Driven
Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions, and solve problems independently
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment

Computer and Technology Skills:

The successful candidate will be proficient in MS Office applications, SAP, Windows, etc.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. German language speaking skills is another advantage.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
