Eventually, these products reach the end of their usage cycle, requiring both the waste and the products to be disposed of in a compliant and professional manner. Who takes on this demanding task?

This is where Eckert & Ziegler Umweltdienste GmbH, a subsidiary of the Eckert & Ziegler Group, comes into play. With a strong sense of responsibility, the company globally collects used radiation sources from its own production, as well as other materials that are generated as waste when handling radioactive substances, for example in laboratories, production facilities, and industrial plants. Whenever possible, these materials are recycled and reintroduced into the economic cycle. If this is not possible, they are processed for proper disposal. As a service provider for the conditioning of radioactive waste, we have decades of extensive and widely recognized expertise.
