Description

As a Furnace Operator, you will load and unload all types of hermetic seals to specified production levels. Perform periodic minor maintenance of the furnace to avoid any types of malfunctions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assure furnaces are always kept in good condition to avoid malfunction.
Must be able to read information chart in order to set up proper temperature measurement of furnaces.
Load and unload parts effectively in order to maintain an acceptable workflow production.
Perform general tasks such as maintaining the equipment and assigned work area clean.
Perform other duties as required by supervisor or management.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

High school graduate preferred but not required.
Basic math skills and ability to read and write English preferred.
Good vision (natural or corrected), excellent hand dexterity in both hands.
Knowledgeable with operating tools and equipment necessary to consistently perform and achieve top quality products.
Repeated standing, walking, and bending are required.
Ability to perform in a production environment with unusual conditions such as highvolume noise level and dust.
Available to work overtime if necessary, including weekends.
Participate in crosstraining efforts interfacing with other departments to acquire additional skills and knowledge for advancement.
Ability to read and set up temperature measurements.
At times you will be required to lift up to 40 Lbs.
Working knowledge of furnace operation preferred.
Repeated standing, walking and bending are required.
Must adapt to working conditions as it relates to different temperatures from the furnaces.
