As a Continuing Education Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in realizing our mission by supporting our continuing education programs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for our members.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Director of Capacity to coordinate and oversee all Empower Ed continuing education program aspects.
  • Contribute to the development and creation of course curriculum, ensuring alignment with Board of Behavioral Sciences standards and the evolving needs of our members.
  • Deliver exceptional membership services, including promptly responding to inquiries, processing registrations, and maintaining accurate member accounts.
  • Thoroughly review and monitor CEU presentation submissions, ensuring strict adherence to accreditation requirements and guidelines.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of course materials, participant attendance, and evaluation feedback. Facilitate the timely and accurate distribution of certificates to program attendees.
  • Forge collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to produce signin sheets and certificates for program participants.
  • Ensure that all presentations, topics, and continuing education offerings utilize an inclusive and cultural humility perspective, uphold the NASW Code of Ethics values, and reflect our diverse communities.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our continuing education initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, social work, project management) or demonstrate equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience coordinating and managing projects, particularly within continuing education or professional development, is highly desirable.
  • Exhibit keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, enabling the effective management of multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaborative relationships with team members, presenters, and program participants.
  • Display proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.
  • While not mandatory, familiarity with continuing education requirements and accreditation processes would be advantageous.

  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong ability to take personal initiative, work both independently and as a team member, collaborate and coordinate with others.
  • Technical fluency in MS Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and technical comfort with virtual platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, exercise good judgment, and think critically to problemsolve in a fastpaced environment with mínimal supervision proactively
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments, comfort with ambiguity and complexity.
