Inspector - Track (RFI) at Ingleside on the Bay, TX

This is a temporary position with a maximum duration of 180 days from the date of entry into Germany.

Purpose:

The individual in this role will be responsible for inspecting track vehicles in the APS-2 fleet, including M2A3, M3A3, M1A2, M109, M113, M577, M1068, M1064, M992, and M88A2.

They will ensure that these vehicles meet all Army maintenance standards and APS-2 Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to fulfill the following essential duties:

  • Oversee and conduct inspections of various classifications of track vehicles and equipment at the unit level.
  • Ensure compliance with Amentum and APS2 standards for quality, health, safety, legal, business, ethical, and other requirements.
  • Have experience conducting quality inspections for APS and be prepared to issue Quality Discrepancy Reports (QDRs) and respond to Government Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) related to inspections.
  • Investigate complaints and violations, prepare reports, file charges, and testify in court if necessary.
  • Be familiar with the licenses and certifications required to operate and maintain U.S. Army track vehicles and enforce these
