_Duties:
_
Responsible for the development and implementation of the Youth Services Program at assigned library location. Responsible for planning and coordinating in-house and outreach programming for Youth, parents and caregivers. Responsible for coordinating Youth Summer Reading Program at assigned location. Participates in collection development in Youth services department. Performs outreach activities to local schools and community organizations to promote Youth services. Represents the library with community organizations pertaining to children. Participates in marketing library programs and services through a wide variety of ways, including print, online and media formats.


_Qualifications:
_
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. One-year related experience and/or training.


PREFFERED:
School Librarian Certificate or M.L.S. Experience planning and programming (story times, crafts, etc.) for children.
