NBCUniversal's Creative Partnerships group is seeking a Project Specialist to join its project management team supporting the development, management, and execution of custom creative solutions for clients across the NBCU portfolio.

You will report to the Sr. Project Director on the Project Management team.


You will need the ability to quickly learn the deep organizational knowledge of working across multiple teams within a large media organization, excellent relationship skills, a high level of organization, detail, and time management, and an ability to find efficiencies in processes while working on fast-paced projects in a creative environment.


You will function in a project management role to support various client projects and internal creative projects ranging in scope.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead the communication and dissemination of information / project development between all project working teams, including dissemination of notes from meetings both formal and informal.
  • Create and manage reporting status and progress of assigned projects and be prepared to communicate that status regularly.
  • Create and track project timelines and milestones from conception through completion for assigned projects.
  • Synthesize large amounts of information into clear and actionable next steps.
  • Assist with ideation, organization and execution of assigned projects.
  • Manage the creative production of Peacock ad products.
  • Bring new ideas forward as an active participant in strategic and creative brainstorms.
  • Manage requests for materials, both outgoing and incoming.
  • Keep apprised of all relevant client, industry, and technology developments, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Ability to respond to needs quickly and adapt accordingly on fast paced, everchanging project.
  • Must have excellent and consistent oral and written communication skills and a rapid response time and clarity of purpose in all communications.
  • Ability to see big picture goals and what needs to be accomplished, break them down into individual tasks, and put each of those tasks in motion.
  • Ability to work independently and in highly collaborative scenarios while building effective, authentic, and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across multiple disciplines as well as external vendors.
  • Entrepreneurial in spirit with demonstrated interest and ability to find innovative way to sustain and expand an organization and its undertakings.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years experience working across a breadth of projects and people ranging from highly technical to highly creative.
  • Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
