- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, notably capital requests to deploy new assets or augment existing ones.
- Perform financial analysis, including financial modeling and valuation, to support investment decisions.
- Utilize Power BI to create visually compelling reports and presentations to convey findings in an effective and engaging manner.
- Anticipate and identify potential issues or challenges in investments and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact investments.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of investment strategies.
- Collaborate with the Governance team to ensure compliance with SBA's processes.
- Track financial and operating metrics and indicators, working with the leadership team of international markets.
- Manage the investment analysis and approval processes, liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure all submissions are done consistently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Provide end-to-end project management support to the investment request submission lifecycle.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Finance, Business Administration, or a related field of study;
- and 4+ years of experience with a strong finance background and Consulting or M&A.
- Experience using SharePoint lists and creating reports in Power BI.
- Experience managing projects using project management methodologies (PMP, Agile)
- Experience with data gathering, reporting, and analytics (MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and others).
- Working knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis tools, others)
- Experience in consulting.
- Working knowledge of Valuation and Financial Analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
